Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of midfielder Nick Sullivan on a one-year deal.

Sullivan was part of the Wanderers foundation youth league squad and returns to the club after multiple stints overseas.

The physical midfielder was part of the youth teams at Belgium’s Club Brugge as well as Portugal’s Vitoria and Cova De Piedade.

The 21-year-old said he was excited to get to work at the Wanderers.

“It means everything to me to play for the Wanderers and to put on the Red & Black strip,” said Sullivan.

“I’ve always wanted to be a professional so when I got the contract I couldn’t wait to sign and all the boys in the team congratulated me.

“All the support staff here are amazing, they all said that they had my back so I’ve been doing all the one-percenters on and off the field to make the most of the environment I’m in now.”

Sullivan will be part of the Wanderers squad set to travel to Perth tomorrow for the Red & Black’s FFA Cup Round of 32 clash at Dorrien Gardens.

St George City would like to thank Nick for his service to the club and wish him all the best for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season.
