St George City (SGC) is pleased to confirm that we will once again be offering a futsal program for the 2019 season.

The Club believe in the benefits Futsal provides for aspiring players and as a progressive football organisation, Futsal is very much a part of this pathway.

To this end we are pleased to confirm that we have appointed former Australian futsal represenative Gilles Tour as our  new Futsal Technical Director.

Gilles Tour Profile

• 12 year Australan international futsal representative;
• Australian Head Coach (3 years);
• International Futsal Club expereince in USA, Brazil.

Gilles will work with our Head of Football, Aytek Genc, to assemble a strong team of futsal coaches for the upcoming season which already includes former Australian Futsal goalkeeper Adam Confoy. Adam will join the coaching team and provide specialist futsal goalkeeping training.

• 12 year Australan international futsal representative.
• Played in FIFA Futsal World Cup in 1996 (Spain) and FIFA Futsal World Championship in 2000 (Guatemala)

As part of the program, SGC will offer player 1- 2 training sessions per week, playing apparel, competition match days at Junior Futsal League PCYC Marrickville and for those teams interested the chance to participate on the 2019 SGFA Summer Football program at either Ador Avenue or Peakhurst Park.

Venue: PCYC Marrickville

Fees:

• $650 per player (1-2 training sessions per week, competition games, playing apparel).
• In addition, we are offering each team the opportuynity to enter the SGFA Summer Football Competitoin at either Ador Avenue or Peakhurst Park. SGFA will reqiure a full team to commit (minimum 6 players) and the fee for this will be $100 per player.
